Capiz | Golden Nights Of Roxas City

CAPIZ | Golden Nights Of Roxas City

The Roxas City is the small Capital City of the Province of Capiz, and is my hometown. Warm Golden Lights lit up the Central Plaza every night, where the City's very own Catholic Cathedral, City Hall, The Capiz Provincial Capitol, The Colegio dela Purisima Concepcion the Archdiocese School, iconic Central Fountain in the Rotunda and the Roxas Bridge crossing the Estuarine Banica River. All this, exactly as I remembered since my childhood days.

The western side of the Plaza, where the Monument of the National Hero Jose Rizal is placed, beyond it is the Halaran Plaza, a Hotel and Restaurant.

Manila | Shooting A Perigree Full Moon

MANILA | Shooting A Perigree Full Moon
A Lunar Sight As Bigger And Brighter Full Moon Graces The Night

A Perigree Full Moon also known as Supermoon was set to grace the lunar sky of May 6, 2012 for Asia. It was fun anticipating the Phenomena, though at a normal eye we can't tell the difference, it was nice to know that our Moon Luna, is at its biggest and brightest on this night.

Manila | Manila Skyline From Astoria Plaza

MANILA | Manila Skyline
As Seen From Astoria Plaza, Ortigas

It has become as regular fitting for a team building activity, that instead of going somewhere on an out of town trip, why not staycation. Initially, I didn't approve of this, as is, I still prefer going out of town, visiting places or enjoy the beach. But I have to consider that unlike me, most of my team mates are married with kids and has residence just within the metro. A staycation is perfect for their setup, after all, this is supposed to be a team building. For us as a team working on a common goal, I conceded, but I didn't  regret that I did.

Roxas City | A Night Stroll In Baybay Beach

ROXAS CITY | Baybay Beach At Night
A Seafood Haven And Beautiful Night On Full Moon

Being that Roxas City, Capiz is the city of my birth. I know this place by heart, like the back of my hand. My fondest memories, shared with friends and family, and being that the 11 km Baybay Beach is very close to the city, citizens of Roxas City are never deprived of enjoying a quick fix beach outing.

EVENT | Pyromusical Competition

The 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
Getting Awed By The Brightest Fireworks Show

Three years ago, when this Pyromusical show was hosted in SM Mall of Asia, I had come to witness the event not as a travel blogger but as a spectator like everyone else. My own goal was to catch a glimpse of one the competing countries show at least. As you can guess, or if you had been to the event as with this year or previously, it draws a lot of people. A fireworks showdown is a natural crowd gatherer, putting up a show where some of the best people in pyrotechnics can showcase their craft and their country is like watching the legendary gladiators spectacle in the roman coliseum.

Ayala Triangle | Christmas Lights

Ayala Triangle Lights Display
A Christmas Pasyalan Series | Ayala Avenue

Ayala Triangle is notorious for the effort that they provide for a Christmas Pasyalan. This year is no exception, I've worked here for several years now, but this is the first time that I get to really experience it.. Maybe giving myself a break from work would do good.

NLEX | Mega Station

Mega Station
Driving at Sunset via NLEX Southbound

September 18, 2011
For starters, our stopping here was more of a little snack, yosi break and pee break,
but the weather is perfect and its magic hour..
I can't help but shoot a few frames.

Makati Nightscape | Burgundy Corporate Tower Helipad

Makati Nightscape
From A Towers Perspective

This was mostly a photography adventure.
A notice was sent to Sykes Photo Club members in the office,
for a photo op with Synergy along with Sykes Photo Club.
Of all places, they want BCT Helipad.

I've been wanting to visit BCT Helipad since I started to work with Sykes.
It's a perfect location to get a sweeping view of Ayala Ave with it's Towers..
I've also known a few Photographers who was brave enough to have taken the initiative.

For one thing, this place is off limits to visitors.
Although I'm a Sykes Employee, I'm assigned to a different location.

The Fort | A Night Stroll Haven

A Stroll In The Fort

Every working day, aboard The Fort Bus that would take me from
Market Market Taguig, to Ayala Ave Makati, I get to pass by this wonderful location.

The Fort is a really nice place for a night stroll.
One Sunday afternoon after watching a movie in Glorietta Makati,
I decided to take a photo walk on this night haven alone.
I've longed to take a picture of a landmark near St Lukes Medical Center, Taguig.

It was a relaxing experience, even though I was just by myself.
The place feels safe, I didn't regret taking this option for relaxation,
as I would normally just go to a spa for a massage.

Here's some of the photos I brought home with me.
